Another way we can help is our Home-savers program is funded through our Heroes Housing Foundation and assists Heroes and their families who are struggling with their mortgage due to disability or death to help bridge the gap with their mortgage during their crisis by making your 1st mortgage payment. Our services are FREE to our Heroes as a non-profit organization. Our Executive Director is a Nationally Certified Foreclosure Document Examiner who has worked as an Expert Witness in Foreclosure Prevention Cases.

Christy Hammel brings her experiences as a nurse and prior military spouse of caring for people, integrity, and honesty to real estate.   Prior to joining Excel Realty, she worked in a level 1 trauma ICU and later managed a team of nurses proving case management services.  In these roles Christy learned to be detail oriented and proactive to assist people to achieve their goals.

As your Realtor, Christy will advocate for you whether your buying or selling.   She understands that the process of moving/relocating is stressful and has experience from living in 5 different states and making over 50+ moves.  Christy will assist to lower your stress through consistent communication and being accessible to answer all your questions throughout the process.

Christy has obtained her B.S. in Psychology, and a Master’s in Nursing.  She has lived in Missouri, Washington, Pennsylvania, and Illinois prior escaping the cold to enjoy sunny Florida in 2017.

When not assisting clients, Christy enjoys family time with her husband, children and grandchildren, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with friends.
